| Our president, Casey Klimasauskas, designed and developed the original NeuralWorks Professional II/Plus (NeuralWare), as well as the co-developer of the original NeuralWorks Predict product. (Note: These are trade marked by NeuralWare, Inc.) He is an expert in applying these products. If you are a NeuralWare customer and are looking for ways to get more from your NeuralWare products, give a call at: 412-916-9476. Microsoft Excel-based interface for NeuralWorks Professional II/Plus. This interface was developed for to provide a customer the ability to access data in Excel, create training and test sets, run NeuralWorks Professional II/Plus either in foreground or background mode, and integrate the results back into Excel with the original data. Another feature of the system provided a mechanism to set up a series of protocols or tests which could be run on different network architectures and data sets for comparing results. This was developed under contract to DARPA, and could be adapted to non-DARPA applications. Java Code Generator for NeuralWorks Professional II/Plus Networks. Another component of the system provided a capability to convert NeuralWorks Professional II/Plus back-propagation networks into Java for deployment as well as converting them into an ASCII file format that could be run directly from Excel. This provided a convenient method for deploying networks in a web-centric environment as well as directly in Excel. Only a limited subset of capabilities of NeuralWorks Professional II/Plus capabilities, essentially standard back propagation networks, are supported by this capability. (Specifically, auto-associative and Log icon projection networks are not supported. Only linear, sigmoid, tanh, and softmax transfer functions are supported.) The system developed for DARPA was limited to binary inputs and one-of-n outputs, but could be adapted to continuous valued inputs.
